Krystal Marie Ball
Krystal Marie Balm (born November 24 the 24th of November, 1980) is an American journalist and political commentator. She was a former candidate for Senate in the United States, and a TV presenter on MSNBC. She was also frequently a contributor to The Huffington Post and co-host of The Hill's Rising, along with Saagar Enti. In May 2021, Ball and Enjeti announced that they were leaving the show in order to launch their own project titled Breaking Points with Krystal and Saagar. Ball hosts Krystal Kyle & Friends' podcast along with Kyle Kulinski. She has appeared on network programs such as CNN, Fox News, Fox News, CNBC, Fox News, and Real Time alongside Bill Maher. Ball was married to Jonathan Dariyanani as of 2020. Ball is able to attribute her interest in politics partly to her experiences as a mom in the 2008 primaries. Additionally, she also observed the US elections for president during her time working in Jordan. She saw how it affected the people of Jordan and thus gained an appreciation of the global impact of US politics. She was a Senior Fellow of the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party candidate for Congress in Virginia's 1st district. She lost to Rob Wittman in 2010. She was the host of The Cycle, a MSNBC TV show that she hosted from June 2012 until August 2015. She co-hosted the MSNBC show The Cycle from June 2012 until July 2015.
