Maria Elena Bello

 Maria Elena Bello is an American actress from the United States. Permanent Midnight (1998), Payback (99), Coyote Ugly 2000, The Cooler 2003, A History of Violence 2005, The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor 2008, Grown Ups (2011), Prisoners (2013) and Lights Out (2016) were only a few of her film roles. Bello appeared on television as Dr. Anna Del Amico (1997-1998) and also in other starring parts such as Michelle McBride (2016 season) and Jacqueline Sloane (2017-2021) on NCIS. Bello was born April 18 1967 in Norristown (New Jersey) to Kathy Bello, an educator and school nurse. Bello also appeared as Dr. Anna Del Amico on the medical drama ER (1997-1998). Bello also starred in other roles, including that of Michelle McBride on the series' first season Touch in 2013, and the role of Special Agent Jacqueline Sloane on NCIS from 2017 until 2021. In political science Bello was a student at Villanova University. Bello continued her education in acting in several New York theater productions after she finished her studies. Bello is mother to Jackson and Dan McDermott, her ex-boyfriend. Bello published a blog in November of 2013 about her similar-sex relationship, Clare Munn, and how it ended. She released a book entitled Whatever...Love Is a Love: The Truth Behind the Labels We Give Ourselves. (Dey Street Books. April 28 and 29, 2015).
