Kyra Minturn
Kyra Minturn, who was born August 19, 1965 was an American actress. She is also a producer and director. Her starring role on TNT's crime drama The Closer as Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson is her most popular. Sedgwick was awarded an Emmy Award and a Golden Globe Award and an Emmy Award for her portrayal as Johnson in 2007. The series ended on August 13, 2012, after the conclusion of its seventh season. Sedgwick is also well-known for her recurring role on Brooklyn Nine-Nine as Madeline Wuntch. Sedgwick received nominations for an Golden Globe award for her performance in Something to Talk About (1995). Sedgwick's film roles include Oliver Stone's Born in July (1989) and Cameron Crowe's Individuals (1992) as well as Heart and Souls (1993), Phenomenon (1996) as well as What's Cooking (2000) and Secondhand Lions (2003).
